Bar-Ilan Research and Development Company Ltd. (“BIRAD”) Re-branded
Beginning today, the Bar-Ilan Research Research and Development Company “BIRAD” will be known as BIRAD Research and Development Company Ltd. The Company intends to deepen its ties with industry players on the one hand and with academics on the other, in order to maximize the University’s research potential and bring it to practical realization.
BIRAD CEO Tsvika Ben-Porat announced the rebranding today. Ben-Porat also announced significant changes in the Company’s operations and in the Company’s marketing and sales concept, with the aim of increasing cooperation with private companies and enabling the exchange of knowledge and expertise between academia and the private sector, which will maximize the University’s research potential and bring it to practical realization. BIRAD is solely responsible for the commercialization of the knowledge and technologies originating at Bar-Ilan University.”
As part of the new branding, the Company logo has been redesigned, a new website has been launched (www.birad.biz) and the Company’s offices on the Bar-Ilan University campus have undergone extensive renovations. In addition, the Company has undergone organizational and strategic changes, and has recruited skilled and professional personnel in the field of sales marketing, advertising and public relations.
CEO Tsvika Ben-Porat said, “The Company is on a new path. As part of the move, a new brand language has been created.”
The Company, which has existed for over 45 years, will now embark upon a new and unique direction out of a desire to build a multi-dimensional, dynamic, innovative and fresh brand, Ben-Porat said, as well as to achieve unique and prominent visibility in the technological landscape, especially in the worlds of online and social networks.
BIRAD is a wholly-owned company of Bar-Ilan University, which promotes the commercialization of innovative technologies developed by university researchers, encourages scientists to promote and expand their research in the direction of applied and industrial projects.
